We know that PDA especially in the Philippines or Asian countries is not very much widely understood.. right? in Western countries , it never became a problem but in Asian cultures, it is.. So how can you show and let your partner feel ur affection for him/her in public areas like school campus, mall, or walking in streets or etc..? Without getting bad impressions from the people that you're PDA or a flirt or etc..

I think holding each others hands does not fall under public display of affection right? Besides, as long as you don't do something that may be very distracting to others such as french kissing in the mall or while watching a movie, then everything will be fine. Your actions will somehow give people an idea of who you are.

Of course bear hug-you don't do that in public. Smack, maybe, can be as long as t will not end up as french kissing in public of course.

i just hold his hand while we are walking or just sitting in a place where where are so many people.affection is not a bad thing in a public place but it should be decent enough.

then what does that "decency" looks like? to what extent it is still or no longer decent?

I think it is all about keeping it classy and not trashy. If I'm in public with my guy, I hold his hand, maybe hug him while waiting in line for something, or give him an appropriate kiss. I would never like make out in public, basically I wouldn't do anything that I wouldn't want my parents to see

For married couples, PDA is not a problem so PDA doesn't bother me since I am married even though I live here in the Philippines. PDA is not a bad thing because it is just showing your love and devotion towards your loved-ones but it should be done appropriately. If you are married and legal to do these things in public then you have no problem but if you are for example a teenager and doing it inside the school campus where your classmates and teacher can see, then it is a problem.

I can show my affection by holding hands, kissing on the cheek, and constant hugging especially when saying goodbye. It's not that ugly on the eyes, is it? I think It's just fine. If some people react then that's their problem.
