Dogs and veterinary

A friend of mine bought a dog, but we never went to the veterinary. How often should you bring to the veterinary and how much?

You definitely have to ensure the dog has had all the usual vaccinations. After that, a checkup every 4 to 6 months is OK if the dog is not otherwise sick, under-weight, or psychotic.
