Renovating nightmares

Ever have a project that just would not finish? Ever feel like your stuck in a kind of rut? Sometimes things can get out of hand like that. However I am trying to be positive and patient with all of it but it can be hard. I think it generally is for a lot of people who do it slowly or in stages or themselves to save a bit of money. I want to turn the nightmare to a dream but there are days when it does feel depressing because it has taken so many years to finish even the small stuff. I don't know sometimes these day I find hard to keep my chin up. Does anyone else feel like that?
