Do you know well all of your Facebook friends? Or did you just add them for getting a bigger mafia (In Mafia Wars)? I know that I don't know all of them so well, but they still are friends of my friends

I don't play any of the games on facebook...if they don't earn me points to cash in for money or prizes, forget it, I don't have time. However, a lot of my connections, I do know...most not personally, but have met over the years online. I also am connecting with a lot who I am recently meeting through their blogs as well as those who are with squidoo. I am finding it very good at getting the word out about things I am doing online. Aww, that's so sad... Because Facebook games really are great I myself don't play them anymore because they took too much of my time, and I had to start making money online I don't add people as my Facebook friends, if I don't know them already

People laugh at me when I tell them I do not do stuff online unless it pays me, but it is the truth. It is pretty cool to get to meet some of the people you know though when you can. Free points and money are a blessing when you are trying to stretch your dollars a little further every month.

Yeah, I can understand what you mean, but Facebook is just so enjoyable that I use it even if I don't earn anything from it. I don't use Twitter so much because I don't earn from it though I don't think that I would use even myLot if it wouldn't pay, and that is a bit shameful...

Before I only add my friends. But when I started on playing games and have explored facebook, I added those who have same interest. And add those who have their online jobs. I learn from them.

So you only have your close friends added to your profile? But you already know them and they already know you.

Yeah, quite many have started doing that lately... I wouldn't personally do it, because I don't want some strangers to know some personal things about me...

I have never joined Facebook, can you believe it! I do well to keep up with MyLot friends. I feel very blessed knowing the people that I meet here.I might just only add family and people from my church if I were to join Facebook. I try to not get too involved in online games.

Yeah, because the online games are so addicting It's okay not to join Facebook. Even I almost never use it, just for checking out for my friends

this is the exact reason why i stopped playing games on facebook. those games encourage me to add strangers to my friends list to the point i have more strangers in my list than people i know. i think that is kinda pathetic and i decided to stop gaming on facebook, cleanup my friend list and be more matured :D so now i have around 150 friends and i think 10% of them probably i don't know (or i'm not sure i've met them before)

Yeah, that's one reason why I stopped playing Facebook games too... I hope that they would make a "game friends" list

I have to seperate facebooks. One of them I know everyone and the over I use for games and stuff. It's just easier for me that way

I signed up for facebook a few years ago with an old email address. I kind of forgot about it and signed up again with a different email, that's the one I use for the people I actually know. I use the older one for games and to sign up for freebie type things so my real friends don't get spammed

That is very wise, because one woman was killed by a jealous man who looked for the woman's informations in Facebook

I know all of my Facebook friends one way or another. If I don't know someone then I don't add them. I often get people who want to add me as their friend and I have no clue who they are, so I don't add them. Some of my friends on facebook are family members, friends from high school, friends from college, friends from my adult life, people I've worked with, etc. I know them all in real life, one way or another. :-)

Yes, I know all of my facebook friends. I am not as close to some of them as I used to be in highschool, but most of us still talk from time to time.

Yeah, that's nice to know. I'm not as active as my other friends are, so I don't talk to them so often

Yes I know all my facebook friends. I don't add people i'm not familiar with unless they are online shops, and I don't usually add people I wasn't close with at some point. I pay attention to the people I add, and those who add me. If it's someone I don't know, then I usually ignore the request. It also depends if it's someone who has a mutual friend with me, like having a classmate in college whose friend remembers me and then decides to add me up because he's seen me around campus. I tend to stay away from requests like that. I'm not really into checking my facebook account, or even updating it because I don't have to let everyone know what I'm up to. Friends of friends aren't exactly my friends. And besides, I already have 300+ friends, or 400+, i'm not sure. I think that's quite a lot!

I know every single person on my facebook, I may not be in contact with them anymore but I have met them in the past, I will not add anyone unless I know them, and if I dont know their name and dont see a pic then they dont get added. If I think I may know them then I will send them a msg before adding them asking if we have met before, if not I always say sorry but I dont add people I dont know.

That's respectable. I don't think that I would do like that though, but it is your own decision.

Hey there, As for me, I do know most of my facebook friends. Most were in high school or people that I have met. The rest of the others are people i know from myspace but haven't met personally and also some random friend requests.

Yeah, I guess you "know" them then... It's good to have real friends too, but then the "not real friends" get all the notifications of your's..
