If you're not yet in college, what course would you like to take up and why? If you're done schooling or currently in college, what course did you take up and why did you choose it? I'm an incoming college freshman at the University of the Philippines Diliman, and I chose Computer Engineering to be my course. It was really hard for me to choose just ONE course since I have a lot of passions. I chose an engineering course since Math is one of my strengths. I chose Computer, specifically, because I don't know, I'm just interested. Lol. I wanted to take up business, too. But I figured that I can start my own business even without studying about it in college. So, yea. So, share your answers! What's your college course and why?

I am also currently taking up an Engineering course in UE Caloocan. Electronics and Communications Engineering to be specific. Well I thought at first, I just followed my brother's footsteps when he took the same course in another university. But during those times when I am thinking of the choice I've made, I've realized how interesting it was. Until finally, I learned to love it. Now that I am at my fourth year in college, as far as I'm concerned my performances are better than any other students in the university. XD

How's ECE? :) I was actually torn between ECE and COE. It was already too late when I realized that ECE is just like COE, but it tackles more things. Oh well, I hope COE turns out great for me, though. Just like how ECE turned out well for you :) Thanks for sharing!

I chose AB Literature because of my love for writing poems/prose/short stories and the like. This course allows me to understand stories better. I originally took Psychology but, that is another story :P

I love writing poems, too! But I never thought of it as something for me to take seriously. Maybe because it's just a hobby I enjoy doing. So I didn't get a writing-related course. Anyway, psychology was also one of my choices, but I realized that there are not many job opportunities for psych graduates.

I'm studying political science. I'm thinking about going to law school as well. I picked it because, well, I'm interested in working for the government. I was a journalism major, but I'm no good at interviewing people. I also realized that I only really liked the courses discussing government. I switched at the last minute and it will take me an extra year to graduate, but I'm much happier.
