promoting your refferal

dear rohmatsw, i've my own way to promote referral links. I always promote that to my those contacts who have a good rapport with me. And I never promote blatantly, I always engage my audience in some activities and in that course of action I make them sign-up my referral link. My experience is that this process always works better than blatant promotion. Thank you for starting such a good discussion.

Getting referrals is my major problem as of the moment since I am still a newbie, I find it very hard to promote my referral link. I don't know where exactly to get referrals. I'm looking forward for the answers of some veterans..

the best place to actually get people is mylot I think. As you can build up your reputation better and people will listen. My experience about promoting my referral link is that one you should make a website to help. Two join mylot and be active. Three be relevant to the conversation and dont spam.And four have fun talking to curious people.

I started with my friends. I opened my email account and search for my friends whom I thought would be interested in joining mylot. I sent them email messages with my referral link and encouraged them to join by sharing some of my mylot experiences and voila! got 2 of them to sign! you can try to join traffic exchange sites where you browse the sites of other people and then your get points by doing it. once you have earned enough points you can also let them view your referral sites then there is a possibility that the person viewing it will be interested to sign up. the chance will be slim though. another way to get referrals is by creating a blog. that's what i did and so far my referrals are increasing.
