the death penalty for corruptor associate with religion

is it God agree between fellow human beings can ta - why they can't dishonest, whereas before assuming his post, they have been sworn in accordance with religion and holy book over their heads.

in Indonesia, the death penalty has long been implemented and currently has been busy talking about to apply the death penalty for corruptor. Apart from the problem of agreeing or not the death sentence for corruptor, we can't ignore that corruptors in anywhere is a religious person, why they can't dishonest, whereas before assuming his post, they have been sworn in accordance with religion and holy book over their heads. If we associate with religion, is it God agree between fellow human beings can take a life fellow human beings of His creation? Does this go unnoticed by the judges who will seek the death penalty?

Yeah I notice our government consider to do it, because its great success in China in reducing corruption. I think we can not say corruptor is a religious person, if he a religious person he will not took the money that he not belong and mis use his job for his own purpose. I think if religious person will not do that because he afraid to his God and find a way to please God in what ever he do.
