How often do you go on vacation? I am going on vacation with my family next week. I am looking forward to going, since it is the first one in at least 2 years. We usually don't take a whole week. We would rather go for 2 or 3 days. That way we can do another one in a few months instead of going only once a year like a lot of people. So how often do you go? Do you go someplace different each time, or do you like to go to the same place every year?

We have regular outings in the family but not long vacations since my husband and I are both working and we can't really have the same restdays every week. So when our restdays fall on weekends (Sat and Sun), we usually grab the chance to bring the kids and the nanny somewhere interesting. We usually just stay out for the whole day since we have two dogs at home and no one will feed them if stay overnight. At least we can just leave food for their lunch and catch up for their dinner when we got home the night. If we want to have a two to three day vacation, we do it in pairs. Either me and my husband leaves and the children are left with the nanny and my mom or the kids go to my hometown and spend the whole week with their cousins (still with the nanny and my mom). We all love swimming so we usually go to resorts (very occassional on beaches because our home is quite a long trip from these places. The kids also love "rides" and there are a lot of places (about an hour or two before we get there) where we can bring them to enjoy themselves the whole day.

I prefer the shorter, more frequent trips. And we are big on the day outings. There are lots of fun things within an hour's drive of where we live, so we can usually find something new and interesting to do.

Since living in Florida and having Disney only 2 hours away from where i live we go there maybe 5 or more times a year. it is very easy to go there for a weekend. Friday through saturday and do the things you want and leave. Get some presents there and enjoy a fun time. Many malls and many things to do are in orlando and you don't even have to stay just in Disney to experience the fun and have fun. We also do a week long cruise each year. It usually ends up being the same places, but this year we are going somewhere i have not been and am excited to be doing that. I am also excited to be going on Oasis of The Seas.

I'd love to be that close to Disney World! I've never been there, but it's on my list of places to go in the next couple years. I love going to new places. It makes vacation that much more exciting.

I didn't go on vacation last summer. I'm' going to the UK this year with my sister for about a week, then I'm working to save up money for my Disney World trip with my boyfriend. That should be next may and I want to go all out on the trip. We try to go once a year, if not more. Where we go depends on a lot of things- how much money we have to spend, how much time we can take off work, et c.

Well since im the kind of person who is always busy at work i usually go for a vacation twice a year and i always go for 3 to 5 days just to unwind. It helps me to improve mental health, revamp my relationship, gain self confidence, find creative inspiration and to become more productive;)
