You basically just need to cut off the outside of the pineapple. You get a knife and cut off the top part of the pineapple. Then slice down the side of the pineapple (carefully) so you just take off the tough outside. Slice fully around the pineapple and cut the tough bottom part off. Now the core of the pineapple is very tough as well and is not what i usually eat. So I cut the pineapple in half and cut out the tough part. The rest of it is edible and you can cut it up however you want to. Enjoy!

Mm, Pineapple. Love it. First get a sharp knife and cut off the top of the pineapple. Second, cut off the bottom of the pineapple. Next you want to stand the pineapple up and carefully run the knife down the side so to remove the skin, with a downward slice motion. Continue around the pineapple until the skin is all cut off. You may find that little black dots are showing on your pineapple. These can easily be removed with a sharp paring knife or with the end of a potato peeler. To slice the pineapple, put it on it's side and cut slices off as per desired thickness. Cube and enjoy! PS: Some people like to de-core their pineapple slices. Do this after you have cut your slices of desired thickness. With a sharp paring knife cut around the core and remove, before cubing. For your convenience, take a look at the following link (has pictures as well) How To Cut A Pineapple http://www.howtocutapineapple.com/ Mmm, my mouth is watering now.
