my lunch today is sinigang na bangus sa bayabas! delicious! my mother cooked the sinigang with fresh guava fruits, she cut the fruits into quarters, removed the seeds. put it with the onion, add water. bring to a boil and when the quava fruits disintegrated, she mashed it with the cooking ladle. next she add bangus and cooked for 3-5 minutes. add kankong stalks and leaves and siling haba. yummy! sinigang is one of my comfort food. ang dami ko na namang nakain!

I don't like sinigang na bangus sa bayabas, before as I felt the fragrance of the ripe guava is not suitable for fish but lately I learn to appreciate it. I like paksiw na bangus especially the belly. (in vinegar and ginger) I like bangus more, however when fried.
