Keytar, The Underrated Instrument

Is it just me, or is a keytar(preferrably the Roland AX-7 brand) an underrated instrument. To those who don't know what a keytar is, I'll explain in Layman Terms: A Keytar is pretty much a keyboard/guitar hybrid.(Yes sounded cheesy but I can't explain it any way without being super technical) It's mostly used in Power Metal bands such as Sonata Arctica or Dragonforce. And often used by bands such as Dream Theater. While I think it is one of the most godly instruments, I feel it is really underrated for an instrument.

Hi acirem Although i have never seen a keytar on real live, i do listen to Sonata Arctica alot(its my favorite band), and i really like Henkka playing the keytar live. It maybe true that is underrated, cause it rocks. Have a nice day.

Another SA fan, glad to meet ya :D Henkka is probably why I'm inspired to get a keytar one day. He's one of my favorite keyboardists next to Jordan Rudess(Dream Theater)
