Yes they are both great but they have nothing in vommon so we cannot compare them.Titanic is lovely love story, story of the lives of many people just as avatar but what is more interesting here is that it shows the real thing that happened while Avatar is a more based on fantasy.

Titanic and Avatar both are over hyped films, both can just be watched once just for the effort taken to make such a film but both of the films goes in my avoidable film. I wished I had never gone to a theatre to watch Titanic and Avatar ...

For a better time pass i can vote for avatar because Titanic has a sorrow end. But the movie Titanic would be my most favorite movie when its compared to Avatar because Titanic has a real story to express.

Titanic is the best love story I must say! It will really make you cry, Celine Dion's enchanting voice made the movie even sadder! I watched it more than 10 times and i just don't feel tired. PERFECT!

I havent seen Avatar but I would go withh Titanic all the way. Its such a nice story and it still brings me to tears when I watch it. More to the point, its a true story, you cannot beat a true story! They are the best and the most heartwarming!

I've actually not seen Avatar yet. So I guess I'm going to have to go with Titanic. Even though it is a very long movie and I haev to do it in parts. But, that doesn't make it any less moving. I still get wide-eyed and gasp when things happen, even when I know for a fact, when and how, they are going to happen. It's just got that "wow!" factor to it. :]
