I think that I really appreciate here is we can learn something from everyone. And the best part is we did not have to pay for it.

I hit F12 before hitting 'print screen'. Not sure if that makes any difference but it was how I was taught to do it.

this is the only i used to do when i want a screen shot. and it even works with the paint program. though i have other programs installed here, i prefer using the paint to paste and save the file, before editing it in another program.

Hi neildc, It does not work with my Lap top. I do not know why. I have no problem before when I still use my PC. I just install a program for that. And my problem solved. Thanks for your response and your time.

i think you had better to use the third-party software to print the screen ... and it is easy to find ..

In Vista and 7, there is a "Snipping Tool" better than the PrintScreen. You can use some capture utilities : -- This "Print Screen" does all in one keystroke, and saves times : http://www.giveawayoftheday.com/freeware/2005/09/22/gadwin-printscreen/ -- "Snippy" is a port of the Vista Snipping Tool for XP : http://www.bhelpuri.net/Snippy/
