mylots Why do people think it is right to be resist to another colored skinned person. Just because our skin color is different doesn't mean we are different from each other. Today i was walking around with my girlfriend downtown and i heard from across the street some stupid white kids calling us small eyed and crap. I was so offended i was about to jump them but i knew i was way to old and i would be in jail so i did what anybody would do walk away.

I am so sorry you had to experience such discrimination. I totally understand you and commend you for your courage and maturity. You did well and I hope you actually thought of your girl's safety before your own at not having to go to jail. Still I understand you and as a Hispanic man I have endured that abuse many times too. One has to be strong and chose our fights. We can't possibly fight at every corner.

yes that is true but sometimes you will fight and you will win due to all the inner anger built up due to all the immature comments people make acting like there all cool and stuff sometimes i wish i could just pop them in the face for a change but no the law of no contact or else it is a crime but what i don't understand is verbal abuse is a crime as well but nothing is done about it. Even the cops use it at times.

OH yes my friends, I am totally with you on that note. I am a short guy but the Italian in me sure take the best out of me and I sure do too take a stand. You kind of have to manage the situation and when you see that opening you take it, and yes pop them right on the mouth. Sometime you just don't hesitate nip it right on the butt. Like I said chose your battles.

I am so sorry you had this experience. People can be so ignorant and mean. Unfortunately, their parents are doing poor jobs, they should be teaching them about cultural diversity. That although different cultures have different appearances, we are all the same. We all deserve the same respect.

A person has the right to hate anyone for any reason or no reason at all. A person should not disrespect someone just because they don't like them. Unfortunately many people choose their actions based on what they believe as oppose to what is beneficial.
