When i look at internet movie data base or just a cinema saloon to see what's playing i get the impression hollywood is not active these days. It seems to me there were more movies, bigger projects like lord of the rings. Is it just me or everybody thinks so?

I'm looking forward for Prince of Persia and I like to watch the Clash of the Titans. American movies is a good quality film they invest so much because it is internationally release. Avatar is very expensive film and the effects was fantastic.

Well I think the recession is one of the causes.America doesn't have too much money right now and the Iraq "war" doesn't help at all ,I think. Still it's good because other countries are allowed to develop their cinematic industry too ,because I can tell you ,I am TIRED of American PROPAGANDA we all grew up with. Still this may happen because the movies became a business not an art..which in fact it's a pity sad because I like 10% of all the movies I see. Whatever happened to Hollywood I am not as supportive as I used to be as a child. Now all I can see are Americans killing Arabic people and saving the world. Could someone turn the page? There's a lot to talk to but I'd better look for another discussion because I'll change to topic from movies to politics... Cheers!

I was against hollywood type movies but after seeing some movies from other countries i thought despite all hollywood is best. There are some very good movies produced by hollywood.
