Now I am recovering from a minor toe surgery because I've been having a nasty infection for years. I got bored and I want to continue my workout routine but I think I am not allowed in order to let the toe heal properly..or maybe I am not right... What do you think ? Should I lift or not?

hell0! well, i think that if you have fully recover from the surgery then you can work or at least some desk work, so that your toe doesn't get overloaded. but better ask your doctor and do what he says!

What have your doctors advised you to do. Generally they know best. If your injury is to your toe then exercise the top and mid sections of your body, that should be okay.

Yes I thought about that but when I do push ups and a lift for triceps [which name I forgot in English]I have to rely a lot on legs. Still I am afraid because working out the muscles need to heal too and my main priority is my toe because I've been having this for 6-7 years and didn't heal and I had 3 surgeries and it's dangerous because it can spread, or worse cancer [as I heard]

Better get your doctor's advice before doing any lifting. Although you can lift wieght by lying down, i think the effort will still require some movement and support from your toes. So i guess it's better be safe than sorry.

Though the best thing to do id to consult your doctor, from what you are saying only your toe is affected, so it wouldn't be much of a problem to lift weights. I suggest you sit in a chair and then workout because it might have less strain on your toe. But start only if you are very confident and if it is really necessarily. If it were me I wouldn't do so.
