I just got a new Dell laptop last week. Let me first say, Wow this computer is just amazing!! it's beautiful to look at, it's fast, and it's fully loaded... or at least i thought... Waht a racket, they charge you almost $800 for a computer put it doesn't come with the full version of Microsoft Office... Oh Nooooooo... you have to buy that seperately for what!!!! how much??!?!?!?!? $300!! Get the F*&k out of here!!! I really need it, but do you think it's worth upgrading the trail version I have for the full version at such a price????

you paid 800 for a laptop? o.O /boggle wtf is it made of.. gold? i got a laptop from dell.. with ALL the bells and whistles, including a kickass sound system with subwoofers and everything that when at only half volume, made the windows rattle! 180 gig drive, 1 gig ram, it was the ultimate for gaming, and including shipping it was about 400. it was AWESOME!!until my ex decided to smash it against the wall umpteen times shattering it all to hell... i now have an acer, that i bought at walmart spur of the moment for less than 400. the software such as office, exccell, etc.. isnt meant to be "included" with the computer.. so yes, its gonna cost you hella additionally to have it. my best advice is dont buy the software itself from dell.. shop around to computer hardware/software stores, either online or in-store.. and find the best price you can. (that stuff is always horribly expensive .

well actually they expect to buy that office as an extra stuff. the computer manufactures like dell usually doesnt matter about the software at all because for them there is no revenue. if you are really fix to it then try to get it if not then you can try other alternative like the new open office that is free and do almost everything like the real office
