What is this? A slam book? This question is commonly found in slam books. An easy question I guess… Anyone can answer this by this and that… in fact, even a grade school student can answer the question… But LOVE has many meaning. Love is very deep and the meaning varies on the experiences of ones person. Love can be defined as a painful feeling or a relative of pain…or a wonderful feeling that one must experience. It can also be defined as a wonderful gift that we can share or give to others – a priceless gift but very valuable. So what is love to you? And what makes you said that? Does it have anything to do with your experience? Does your experiences change the way you look at LOVE?

What love means to me is very complicating.Growing up thinking you will marry a virgin christian girl and then you realize that you are obsessed with a woman 4 years older with a four year old son. You think to yourself she is too old and she is not a virgin and she has a son. Despite these conditions you still fight determined to win her heart and have a life with her. You strive earnestly and never give up because she is the one. This is love. Searching for something that you cannot find and eventually finding it somewhere it is not expected is like looking for a rare rose among thorn and finally you do not wanted to let them go cause you will never fine another like that.

Wow very well explained! Well I guess you are really inlove TheBlackGhost! Your love for that girl is really true and sincere! Well many are looking for that "love" to come their way, many are searching but still they cannot completely say what you just said... Love is something we can't explained... We love because we feel it... unconditional and we are not looking for something in return. Well goodluck to you those kind of girls are sometimes really hard to get... They wanted to be sure and doesn't want to experience what they had experienced before. I hope any obstacle that goes on your way, you'll surpass... Keep it up. True love is worth fighting for.

I think there are times when we tend to use the word live in place of like. I once proclaimed my love for the invention of calculators. They saved my hide in middle school in more than one occasion. Love it's self is an interesting thing. It's very elusive. I suppose that's why it's such a cherished emotion. I once thought that I found love, but it turned out to be a false positive. The feelings displays didn't appear to be mutual, and we went our separate ways.

Well sometimes, it happens really. Even how much we tried to save the relationship, it just dont work... Sad endings happens more if, only one is working on the relationship... Both person must do their part... That is why, we call our love ones "partner", it should always be mutual... Sometimes, we should know when to stop... there is no point for forcing ourselves too much, coz it would just make the situation worst... You might both end up hurting each other emotionally and/or physically... Sometimes it better to leave and move on... Well then I wish you luck and I know that "right" person will come soon. No worries. Thank you for responding and sharing cbjones.

For me love is careing more for anothers health and happieness then your own. I live by that every day and it is one of the reasons I feel my marriage is in it's 19th year. Good question.

Wow that is great!!! 19 years of marriage... still going strong? Hope so!!! Well I know petty fights and misunderstanding happens normally, but it is good that you reach 19 years! Now a day, people get married and separated after 2,3,5... years! I am really glad to know that! Good luck and may your marriage be blessed always...
