I just saw a commerical where Wendy's was trying to get customers to order their value meal by saying other's burgers come plain and that's where the value comes from. Well... I Always have my burgers plain! So sorry Wendy's/ Is there a current ad that makes you want to avoid a store or restaurant?

Yeah, Carl's JR. Their hamburgers look nasty to me, lol. And Burger King. I wish they'd stop being so snarky. And the King is scary looking, lol, lol!

ha I always thought the king was scary looking! I said that to a friend once and he laughed at me. I'm glad I found someone else who doesn't think I'm insane. I just find them really really creepy. Sort of like a little gnome but got too big and just got deformed! The one which had the king running around in the dark pretending to be a burglar was pretty scary.

Well, you know you could always ask them to not put anything on it. I like the Wendy's spicy chicken sandwiches, but that's about it. When it comes to a burger, there are plenty of other places I would rather go pick one up at. I also always felt like Wendy's value menu was one of the most skimpy ones out there, the value burger has hardly any meat on it.

yes, I agree. Their value meal is teeny tiny. The last time I had that I was still hungry, though I did get a pretty good bargain for 2.99. I mean, where else can you get fries, a drink, and a hamburger for 299? I have to say that's a pretty good bargain, but yes I wish it were bigger. It's good if you just want a quick snack or you're planning on having a big dinner. But today when I went to Wendy's I order regular quarter pounder and large fries. That was a lot more expensive, but at least to satisfy my hunger. I guess there's always a trade-off.

so the Add is really about their own" value" meal! Thanks. I use to go to my local Wendys but I stopped when I had to Argue with the cashier when I wanted aarge fries and a smal drink instead of a " value meal." Then , what Karma, it burned down. Now that it is rebuilt, I went once but now I prefer Five Guys. There the hasmburgers are Huge And they come plain. No arguing, no having to reorder because they don't understand plain means Plain!

I thought the same thing when I saw that commercial. I'm a vegeterian, but I dolike my veggie burgers plain, and I know a lot of people that always order their hamburgers plain. I have a feeling that commercial won't help Wendy's much.
