When we talk with friends by skype, msn, QQ and so on we often find some abbreviations. It is a kind of Internet language. Many people use the same abbreviations in texting and instant messaging, and social networking websites. Some existing acronyms, such as "AFK" (To mean "Away from keyboard") and "IRL" (To mean "In real life") were used on bulletin board systems before the Internet became popular. These are now used on the Internet, such as in chat rooms and on instant messenger software. Such as "LOL", "ROTF", and "AFK" etc. Do you like to use abbreviations? Do you know other popular abbreviations?
