Do you believe in life after death?

Is there really life after death? Erwin W. Lutzer in his book ONE MINUTE AFTER YOU DIE accentuated that one minute after we slip behind the parted curtain, we will either be enjoying a personal welcome from Christ or catching our first glimpse of gloom as we have never known it. His statement of course is under the premise that there is truly life after death. But is there really something to look forward to after life on earth ends?
