I have one of those flat screen LCD TV's and its about time to clean it, because the screen is getting a bit dusty and dirty, so I'd like to know the proper way to keep the screen clean, because the instruction manual says not to use harsh chemicals, but what type of cleaning solutions can I safely use on this type of television without damaging it? appreciate y'all advice thanks.

Hi, apples99. I think that Pledge wipes would be a good idea. They have the formula that you can use that is safe on appliances. I think that this would be fine to use. It will not damage your T.V. You should only use the formula that is suitable for your T.V.

Pledge wipes oh yeah I think I saw a commercial for those and they have a multi surface brand too, though I wasn't sure if they could be used for an HD set, well thanks for that info.

I use two soft, clean cloths (like the ones you use to clean spectacles) and gently wipe the screen down. Don't wet the cloth keep it try and gather up as much of the dust and grime as possible.

I use my camera lens cleaner it's like a piece of thin paper. It removes all the dots and finger prints without any scratch
