What is your plan for when a tree destroys your house?

We all have a backup plan for things in our lives, like making plans and then it rains. But what do you think you would do or where would you go if a huge tree came tumbling down on your house? This happened to me just about a month ago. Our whole world was turned upside down. Thankfully we had a relative living in the area where we could hang our hats and lay our heads on a pillow. The main thing is we survived the ordeal, and we didin't lose anything of importance.

haha l live on the 8th floor. That'd have to be quite a big tree XD and it'd take a while to grow so l'll have lots of time to think of a plan

I'm not really going to make a backup plan for when a tree falls on my house. I'm going to make sure that it can't happen in the first place. Should make sure that a tree is never close enough to your house, that it would land on it should it ever fall.

Well, I have never thought of that, as there's no tree in front of my house. Though there's a tree in front of my parents' house, my mum always trims it, so that it won't grow too tall or too big. If it really happens to me, I still can stay in my relative's or friend's house, as we stay in the same town, so it shouldn't be a problem for us to get a shelter. But I think we'd need to spend money and time to get the house repaired. I suppose none of your family members got hurt, right? That's the most important thing. Hope your house will be "recovered" soon.

That is something unique to be heard of. You are very lucky and also safe. A tree falling on a house is a natural effect which no one predicts, that is something unimaginable too. For any natural effect we have to face the consequences No escape at all.
