blown heeadgasket on a 91 honda

So I've been facing this issue with my car. I don't have the money to do another car payment. I don't have anything I can show for income at this point. So I'm having to borrow money from my mom to get the car fixed. the car has 174,000 miles on the car and its in the shop right now getting fixed. but i'm curious as to what you on myLot would do......

I would prob of bought a new car for a few hundred quid,
not sure how much its costing you to replace a head gasket but it is prob more than the cars worth especially with the mileage thats on it.
I would as I say prob scraped the car and went and got another one for a couple hundred quid with maybe 90-100k miles on the clock.
