hi friends. i'll be honest here.being a mumbai supporter ,i loved it when they thrashed RCB by 38 runs. but when chennai thrashed deccan by 38 runs,it didnt make sense. same stadium, adjacent pitch.no dew all right so far but winning by 38 runs after scoring 184 is one thing but if a team wins by 38 runs after scoring only 142,then there is something wrong i am pretty sure that chennai supporters will be a happy bunch today. but if you dont support either mumbai or chennai, the semis-finals were not that great the sucess of T 20 can be attributed to the last ball finishes which keep the viewers on the dge of their seats till the 20 overs but unfortunately,in both matches, before the 16th over was bowled, everyone knew who will win and the remaining 5 overs have been mere formality. by not providing a fighting semis, the standard of cricket is somewhat diminished. i am pretty sure most of you will love the scenario of getting 16 runs in the last over rather than 38 runs of the last over. so for me,the semis finals have been disappointing. how about you?

As Iam a chennai supporter As you said I like the match . Chennai won the match because of the great captaincy of dhoni and superb bowling from the all bowlers. I think there is something in the pitch. If a team bowls brilliantly the match can end in 15 th over. any thing can happen in cricket at any moment. some thime the match changes to one sided game,we cant predict it. if the match is a tight one every one will be thrilled . For me both of the semis were not bad ,I liked it

Well I have slight feeling that matches were fixed but may be I am wrong. I did not enjoy the second semi final much and the pitch was not that great when DC was batting. Ball was not at all coming on and I felt DC allowed more than 30 runs more. They should have restricted CSK to 120 but they have relaxed in between and allowed players like Anirude Srikanth and others in the end to score more. While batting DC scored just 2 runs in 2 overs. Never seen Gibbs or Gilchrist batting so poorly in any match till to this date that itself says that they have given up the match there itself and Rohit Sharma played a shot which was not needed at that time and Mishra another player blindly came out of the crease and slog shot. The semis were disappointing and pitch should have been better and if the same pitch is allot for the finals then again one more one sided match it will be..

Yeah somewat dissapointing because it looks likes its getting predictable, the team batting first wins before the end of the match the winner is known to all, there is no suspense left in this IPL.I hope the final is far more better (May mumbai win) :P

This has been the greatest semis. CSK winning over DC by 38 runs ! WOW that's great. You can't expect the same teams ( DC and RCB ) to come into the finals every time. I want DC to lose badly to RCB in the 3rd position playoff match. I want CSK to win in the finals but I am 1000% sure that they will receive a trashing defeat from MI.
