Real Madrid can't beat Barcelona, not that C Ronaldo is behind Messi, but the tactical framework and the tacit agreement of Barcelona rank first in the world, but the operation command behind Messi ranks first in the world. Being the core of the headquarters of the general staff, Xavier brings football into the Iraq War-Age which is the war of electronic technique and information capacity, while other teams still remain in World War II pattern which depends on fighters, tanks and cannons. Messi will become "mess" when he returns to Argentina, because he will lose the support of the system. Messi will become "mess" when he returns to Argentina, because he will lose the support of the system. Seeing that Messi is so imposing and unstoppable in Barcelona, Maradona may not feel elated. For if he can't solve the problem of tactics designs and member allocation around Messi in Argentina team and provide Messi a "clone" Barcelona, Messi is so difficult to show his dignity as he did in Barcelona when he wears Argentina's uniform in the World Cup, then fans and media will blame his relentlessly. Maradona's pressure is growing. Talking about the individual capacity, the adaptability in different conditions and the function in different tactical framework, I think C Ronaldo ranks first in the world.Messi needs specific environment and has his own limitation. He is easy to be restricted when he meet those iron and blood teams such as Chelsea or F.C Internazionale Milano which has some quick, powerful and flexible defenders in its defence; In addition, he will be disorienting without the Xavier-oriended midfield headquarters behind him. In the next round, Barcelona will take on F.C Internazionale Milano in UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE semifinals. We'll see if Messi can remain his "Even God can't stop me" status. There is a theory that the veteran Zanetti of F.C Internazionale Milano can stick Messi, but i think it is just smoke. As far as individual defensive capacity is concerned, few people in the world can "exchange" Messi, maybe the best of Ashley Cole or Barcelona's Alves could pin down him 70 minute, for their height, stride, weight, flexibility, coordination, explosive force and accelerating ability are similar with Messi. The back who is too tall and too heavy hardly can stick Messi. Only the person who has similar physique and same action frequency can restrict this amazing "little quick" in Barcelona. Following this thought, in F.C Internazionale Milano, only Cordoba is the Mr. Right. But in my opinion, Mourinho won't adopt man-to-man defense against Messi, for that will fall right into his trap. Barcelona's integrity is the best in the world and almost better than any other national teams, because Barcelona has longer running-in period. Don't deem that Messi is the only problem in Barcelona and you can deal with any trouble with sticking Messi. Facing this situation, Mourinho has his own idea. Basically, only overall tactics can oppose Barcelona's "solid geometry" pattern attack. The attacking pattern of other teams in the world such as Arsenal FC is still "plane geometry", even though they also can present an excellent show. Different fields are identical when they rise to a specific high level, such as football and mathematics. The football of Barcelona is solid, and Messi is the last puzzle-answer and coordinates for complicated formulas in Barcelona's 3D-tactical framework. The answer is Messi! If it is necessary to find out an individual to defend Barcelona's Messi, maybe the answer is Messi himself or a blue-white Argentina uniform.

I'm pretty sure Cordoba is not the only decent Milan player. I'd hoped that a team of Barca's stature and acclaim would be above the petty excuses and blame following defeat, but of course thats never likely to happen in football. They were simply not good enough against Milan. Historically they are considered one of the best teams in the world, possibly as a result of being one of the most expensive teams in the world. You cant discount a team based on a single performance, but likewise you cant consider a team to be a current best just because of their history. With the Barca/Madrid debate, both teams have slipped up this season and both like to leave it very late in many cases to win a game. I've seen both teams go past 80mins without a goal and then finish up with 3 or 4. That tells me they are only able to break through some defences when they are weakened by length of play. It's rather like Manchester United popping up in the 97th minute and grabbing a winner against the run of play over the first 90mins. As an aside, in my opinion Messi is a better player than Ronaldo. He's got the skills without the arrogance and petulance and he's certainly less selfish and more of a team player. As to the mathematics, almost everything and every action in the universe can have a mathematical equation or logic attached to it, but i think applying geometry to the game of football is frankly going to be something of a niche. For most of us, its a game of football, something we enjoy not something we need to speculate and calculate. Besides, with all the maths in the world you cant calculate how individual players are going to act and react with the ball, the surface and each other on any given day. All you can really do is summise in the same way all fans do for example 'on paper X looks better than Y' and yet as we all know that is never a certainty to reflect the result (eg. Juventus v Fulham)
