Finding New Music / myLot

I absolutely adore Music and really enjoy finding out new artists and styles, I have discovered hugely varied Music through Spotify especially and was thinking about a Question for here. How do you find new music?

First, I look at the Billboard charts for a list of new songs. Then I also check out forums. I also have a friend who loves checking out youtube videos and we exchange lists. The radio is also a good source. :)

Thanks for the response. I do the same with YouTube as you and your friend. It can be a great way of finding new music as you and your mates give recommendations to each other matched to your favourite musical genres.

My b/f always turns me on to new stuff. He has a great knowledge of music. I think he just surfs the net..youtube,facebook. Finds all kinds of new stuff.

Thanks for the response Jen, I agree, those places are great for finding new music, I have found a lot of new music from word of mouth on Facebook and also watching videos on YouTube.
