Penpals Do You Have Them?

I enjoy writing, and when I was younger I used to have penfriends, now I am again writing to penfriends across the globe, I actually really enjoy it, and it is so much more personal than sending/receiving an email. Does anyone else have penpals these days?

When I was a teenager I had lots of penfriends from around the world, and I really enjoyed writing to them and learning about their countries and cultures. We exchanged postcards, pictures, cds, presents and other things. I even got the chance to meet some of my penpals, and we had a great time together. Today I don't have as many penpals as I had in the past, but I still have a few penpals from different countries. I have lost touch with many of my old penpals, am I have thought about finding some new penpals from around the world.

Yes, I used to exchange little things with my penpals too - postcards, stickers, photos, little gifts like fridge magnets or badges. It was great fun, I would look forward to the post arriving every day, hoping I would get something nice!

When I was a kid, I had TONS! Since then I've written to the odd friend that I've worked with abroad that lives far away. I've only recently started to get more into it again and found some new penpals. Some I write to mostly by email, but I much prefer to receive a hand-written letter. :)

I had a penpal way back in grade school like in grade 4 i think but not since then.

I had several penpals when i was in high school. I am sorry to say that i have lost touch with most of my penpals. Emails and texting seeming to way anymore.

Yes, I have penpals too, though I don't write as many letters these days and I usually keep up with my penpals on Facebook more regularly, just writing a letter every few months. I enjoy writing letters but rarely seem to get the time nowadays. When I was younger though, I had loads all over the world and it was my favourite hobby.
