I watched the match. Lyon have had a good run but they were simply out-classed by BM. Delgado was gievn the free role to attack and break them down, but i thought he was very poor and Lyon as a whole didnt even seem to get into the flow of the game. I thought the ref made some poor decisions, not least the booking which lead to the applause in frustration and subsequently a second card and dismissal of Cris, but ultimately they weren't showing any real signs of getting back into the game. They did have a good chance after they went down to 10 and also played better in general. I was surprised they waited so long to start throwing everyone forward as the game was practically wrapped up very early. Great hat-trick from Olic, one one the left, one on the right and one headed, which is quite rare. All eyes now to the Inter game..

Hi suman, The dream did not come true for Lyon this season even though they were the first team from France manage to qualify for the semi final of Champion League after Marseille won it during 1992/93 season. It is an easy game for Bayern Munich and the great moment for Ivica Olic, an hat-trick hero from this game. And Lyon dream as good as over after that. With ten men and four goals needed, it is an impossible thing for them to do. Olic score his third goal on 77th minutes. Lyon might able to destroy Real Madrid dream to win this season Champion League trophy but they were totally under pressure when they need to play at their first semi final in Champion League competition. They never qualify this far before this season and their would be their greatest achievement in Europe competition.

Bayern munich playing well last day or i have to say their playing is so amazing since they can make 3 goals easily without ribery in lyon's home. And i guess olic could be the top scorer replace messi with a single digit difference now. Have a nice day

suman680, It has been Bayern Munich for me all the way, even though quite a lot of tipsters and forums were saying otherwise. I do not know about them but I felt that Lyon is still not mature enough especially big matches like semi finals. Bayern on the other hand, is a much more mature and a team for occasions. Too bad for Lyon and I suppose it will be better luck next year.

Hi..Suman , I also saw the match . It was expected that Bayern will progress to the finals as they were the one's who won the first leg of this match . I serious wanted Lyon to win as I always support the UNDERDOGS . Bayern have many caliber players in their side and there is no surprise that they won . It would be interesting to see that who joins Bayern in the second leg . I think Inter, because they have a lead of two goals. Anyways..happy mylotting and have a nice day !!!
