yes it's possible to install two OS. but it's not good to switch OS everytime you want to do a task in another OS. you have to decide what OS you will boot so that you will avoid the hassle in restarting again the computer and reboot in another OS.

Ofcourse you can man---i did install both in different drives but it wasn't satisfactory---the drive which has linux OS has been shrinked lol(i lost 13 GB of hard disk)---so i just deleted it.The version was Debian it is huge compared to Ubuntuu(which is better than the former)and the accessing is pretty easy and user friendly and have some great features too.great day.

Well wondering this discussion on the cricket interest. Anyways, yes you can install both on same machine, what matters is the usage. You cannot use them both at the same time, means you have to restart for using other.

hi It is possible to install two OS in same computer. Make two partition in your hard disk. Install one OS in each partition. you can load only one OS at a time . if you want to use other say Linux you will need to shutdown first say WINDOWS.you can't load both OS simultaneously . Hope this clarifies the doubt.

Hi siliguri! From what I know, it is possible to install two operating systems on a computer. I read somewhere before that on a Macintosh laptop, you can install Windows without getting rid of the mac - as long as your laptop is dual core (or something like that). So based on that, I guess that it would also be possible to install a Windows XP Operating System and a Linux in one computer, provided that your processor is dual-core in nature.

I think both are equally good and can be used in one computer. Its also allows us to eradicte the virus in Windows that we know its now have a lot of viruses, though second operating system we san minimize the virus infection to our Windows...
