Personally the last two years I have been working my way thru the books written by David Gemmell and David Eddings. I am also a fan of Andy McNab books but have read most the those also except for a couple of his newer released books.

I read all the books by David Gemmell, except one, and he is definitely the most impresive author I ever read. Also Guy Gavriel Kay is a little similar to Gemmell, let's say the prince of the genre.

I will have to take a look at the books written by Guy Gavriel Kay, at the moment I am reading the Terry Goodkind series "The Sword Of Truth".

Over the years, I have worked my way through all the books written by Agatha Christie, Stephen King - well, not all of them, but I got kind of bored after #14 -, John Grisham, James Patterson, and now I am into Harlan Coben. I try to find fast-paced, easy to read books that will take me to fantasyland quickly and painlessly, and which will let me go just as fast.
