I can't last a day without water. I'm very much a water person. I sweat a lot. Whether it be hot or cold weather. I tend to dehydrate myself if I don't take in lotsa fluid in a day. I always carry with me a jug wherever I go. I can last a day without electricity. But that's only for a day. But I don't think I can go on a day without water. How bout you?

Correct. We can't live without water. Its better they cut off our electricity once in a while so that our electric bill will go down. The electric companies are charging us to high. The downside is that our food inside the fridge will spoil.

Spoilage! Then we better stock up with those canned goods then. Or something organic like a salad.

Yeah.. so tedious. And intake of huge amount of processed meat can give us the mean "C"

Good idea. But salad will not last for a day. then we have to visit the market everyday to buy organic.

Humans can live without electricity. It has been tested during the primitive age. People only rely on the natural resources like, air, water, sunlight and the food thay they eat from different sources. So, I believe it should be water.

I am so sorry if you get offended. It really wasn't my intention to hurt you.

I don't like the taste of water so I suppose that I could last a day without it but when it comes to electricity well, I rely on so many appliances within my home that life would become unbearable if I had to live without electricity for a whole 24 hours! Instead of water I drink lots and lots of tea throughout the day so I guess I'm getting my water intake that way. I know that they say water is very good for you but even so, I just cannot tolerate its taste! I seem to be in good health at the present time so I must be doing something right! Andrew

I used to take tea a lot. It helps me get rid of toxins. That must be the reason why you are healthy. Now I seldom take it. I just drink lotsa water and it works fine with me. Thanks for the response.

Its better not to have electricity than not to have water. I prefer having water than electricity. Though I must admit that it tends to be so hot when there's no electricity but water can actually make me feel cooler. There are so many things that I cant do without water.

Same here. It doesn't matter if the water is hot or lukewarm... it cools me down.

hell0! they both are very important, but if the water is mentioned not as a use for thursty, and just for washing and some other things, then I guess that I would still hold on it, because I just can't imagine how would I live if I can not take a shower in the hot summer days, or how could I live without washing my hands before eatingor washing the dishes, because I really hate seeing piles of dirty dishes in the sink- it is awful!!! and without elecricity i can- well, here comes the question how would I have some hot water to take a bath if there is no electricity and the answer is simple: there are some boilers here in my country which can be used with wood- just make a fire and boil the water in it :) it is so simple so that's why I will definitely choose the water instead of electricity!

Yes, yes, yes! Very true. And we can even produce electricity with water.

Humans need water more than electricity.Water is needed by our body. Also water can do many things for us like washing our body and laundry, producing products that needs water mixed with it.Electricity is only needed because of technology uses.At the very start our ancestors lived okay without electricity.Electricity started to be needed just because of the technology. That's what I think.

Hi, melloncollie. I think that I could not last a day without water. I will need something to drink. I drink more than I eat, and having me something cold to gulp down would really do me some good. I can always go without electricity. I can find a way to get cold or warm..

You must be pretty healthy. Water is a good supplement as well. Not only does it cleanse our body... but also keeps our skin moisturized.

Sometimes I wish I could just "unplug" from it all. As for water, that it is life necessity!

I cannot go on without water. Like you I sweat a lot specially this summer so I really need water or else I will collapse. I can live without electricity for one to three weeks but enough with three weeks because no electricity means no mylot! :(

Yes. That's the downside of no electricity. No mylot. It really is scorching hot here in the Philippines now. There was a time when it even reached 37 degrees. As if the whole nations was burning with fever.
