Manchester City vs Tottenham Hotspur

After today games, the chase for the forth place in the English Premier League can safely say between the Blues of Manchester and Spurs. Even though Aston Villa is not totally out of competition for that, they made it harder after defeat against one of the contender, Manchester City.
Today games shown than Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur is the main contender for the forth place and the last place for the Champion League breath. Manchester City shown that they were a serious chaser after dumping Aston Villa at The City of Manchester Stadium. The come from behind win keep their pressure on Tottenham Hotspur as the current occupant of the forth place. Only one point separated this two team.
After Aston Villa lead the game from John Carew goal at the 16th minutes, Manchester City keep their pressure and finally got their equalizer from Carlos Tevez penalty kick after Stephen Warnock bring down Johnson at the edge of the penalty kick. Before that, Manchester City has a strong penalty appeal turn down after Stephen Warnock block Carlos Tevez strike using his hand. Just 90 seconds later, Emmanuel Adebayor score the second for Manchester City. But before that John Carew saw his attempt hit the bar. Craig Bellamy ended all Aston Villa hope for the forth place after he score the third goal for Manchester City, one minutes from the full time.
Tottenham Hotspur keep their place at the standing after hard fought one nil win against Bolton Wanderers. Tom Huddlestone thunder goal on the 38th minutes was enough for Tottenham Hotspur to ended the week above the rest of the Champion League chaser.
Next week, both teams, Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur, would face each other in the blockbuster games or maybe the most expensive game because of the fortune that might come for the winner. Tottenham Hotspur would come to The City of Manchester Stadium and claim the right to represent England at the most prestigious club competition in Europe. A win would be certainly confirm their place but a draw is not a bad result for them either. Manchester City need to win this game and take over the forth place.

Hi Akuler,
I watched the game, Manchester city vs Aston Villa. In my opinion, the two times breaking through from Johnson ( actually i do not know his name) is key to win the game. His first breaking through got the penalty kick and Tevez kicked in the boal. His second breaking through made the score getting from Adebayor very easy. After Manchescter city win against the Aston Villa, it make the next game, Manchester city vs Totterham Hostpur, more important and more tough for both of them.
I am not the fan of either team and what i look forward to is just a wonderful geme.

It is true that Adam Johnson contribution to last night game was a great deal. He is the source of the Manchester City first two goals. First, he won the penalty after he was tackled by Warnock inside the penalty box. And the second goal, he pass a defender before he give the ball to Emmanuel Adebayor and the striker from Togo did not waste the chance and hit pass Friedel.
It would be a blasting game between Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur next week at The City of Manchester Stadium. Manchester City would go all out to win this game because this the game that really matter because a win in this game would allowed them to leapfrog Tottenham Hotspur at the standing and fill the last breath of Champion League qualification.
I hope we would watch a great penalty box to penalty box action next week. And let the best team win.

Tottemham Hotspur definitely have an advantage over Manchester City for the quest of forth place in English Premier League. They were currently one point and one place above Manchester City. What they need to do is just be on par with Manchester City result if they can not go better. They would still qualify for the next season Champion League competition.
