Do you still use dumb box or have you ever used dumb box? Not the computer (as some people call computer a dumb box), I meant the dumb box wherein we save some coins and small notes. It is a good habit to save money on dumb boxes, as that extra money comes in handy to buy memorable things or to use them when go for tour. Any one of you know why they are called DUMB BOX? Because it wont know if somebody takes money from it.

Dumb box memories are very funny, I used to lift the dumb box often to ensure that my saved money is safe, by the weight.

I’ve always called them money boxes. I don’t have one but my eight year old daughter has a couple. One is a beautiful piggy bank and the other is in the shape of a television set of all things! My husband and I use a bowl to put lose change in; it may be worth getting a dumb box though!

Hi samson, it's really interesting to know that the container which we use to save coins with such funny name We usually call them Piggy Banks as most of them having the shape of adorable piggy. These lovely little chubby creatures are well designed with striking colors. Most of them are made of clay. You know why it is made of clay? For when it's fully filled or the money in it is needed urgently, it has to be broken. I did have one during my childhood. It's a birthday gift from my dad for me to save pocket money. I loved it very much and felt reluctant to bread it though it could hardly take in any coin. I tried to dig out the coins from it one by one from the small slot on top of it. It's really sad that I broke it accidentally when tiding the shelf. Nowadays I can see appearance of dumb boxes designed in other shape cute animals, or cartoon animals and with a round opening at the bottom of them. Kids need not to break the stuffs anymore to take out the coins Happy posting
