An anime about a LOSER boy who was incidentally a guy in line to be a Mafia boss. He was tutored by a 5-year old baby named Reborn. You, at the first 20 episodes, would not be impressed by the storyline. BUT it gets better, i swear. So try reading and watching it. You'd be interested as much as I am.

I haven't been keep up to date with the anime but I'm pretty much caught up with the latest manga volume. But I have to agree with you there. The series does start off very slow with the introduction of the various people that would make up Tsuna's family. But thinks start heating up when you get to the Varia Arc. This series doesn't get as much love as it should. I think it's that slow start that turns some people off. But I like it for the interesting characters, there's just a bunch of them running around after all.

actually, the anime has turned into a different angle than the one on the manga. I'm expecting the same that tsuna would fight byakuran but in the anime, as of now, they actually came back to the past after they lost the choice battle. they needed to finish the test of the 1st generation vongola that's why they came back. so it's kinda different cause in the manga, after they came back to the base after losing the choice battle, well, byakuran and his guys attacked at once. that's why i'm reading and watching the anime cause sometimes, they don't follow/they add some new parts on the anime :)

Oh, so it deviated from the manga. I hope they don't drag it out too long but then again that might not be too bad because it sounds like the anime is catching up to the manga. I might have to check out the anime again. I left off when Tsuna and the gang were trying to do a surprise attack on the Millefiore base.

I watched the anime and read the manga. The anime episode now until the chapter where almost at the end of fight with Byakuran in the future. While in manga, they are now facing Shimon Family which just regain their power and beat Tsuna and his guardian and destroyed their rings. But at the end of the manga episode this week issue, the grandfather of Vongola IX came and offer Tsuna and his guardian an upgrade to their rings with a reagent of the blood of Vongola Primo. Can't wait to check and read for the next issue of the manga.

yea... initially KHR seems kiddy but after the introduction of Mukuro.. the story gets better and more interesting.. I've watched until the arcabaleno arc and am currently putting the series on hold. As for the manga, I'm not exactly up to date but have read until the part where Tsuna reveals the whole mafia thingy to Kyoko and Haru. I find Kyoko and Haru damn irritating and they make me not feel like watching/reading KHR at the moment.. but well.. i will eventually continue reading since my favorite characters (Hibari and Dino) are still around..
