I have seen Band of Brothers few months ago and recently I have watched six parts of the mini series "The Pacific". The narrative style of the movies are very interesting, but sometimes don't you feel that the stories are highly exaggerated and far away from reality? A tampered historical presentation of untrue facts.

"A tampered historical presentation of untrue facts" ? That's kinda heavy handed sweeping generalization there, my friend. If you had made time, you would have found out that both television series were based on the experiences of real-life soldiers. Band of Brothers is based on an existing company in the US armed forces, some of the characters do exist. The pacific is based on two memoirs by soldiers. They had WW2 veterans overseeing the script and the shooting. I wouldn't go so far to say as NONE of the scenes were glossed over, as a lot of them probably are, but to say they are outright fallacies maybe a bit too much.

I have watched Band of Brothers and I am currently watching The Pacific and I find it pretty good. I don't really know the historical facts though, is it really tampered? If it is, I would do some of my own reading and then compare with the series then

I have seen Band of Brothers a long time ago and I have been following The Pacific. Both are good movies produced by Tom Hanks and Steven Speilberg. Although action can be highly exaggerated, it is for cinematic purposes. But in general I don't really think that it tampered the historical facts.
