Everyone have different talent. Parents must know talent their children so they can guide their children toward success in field that they do. If the children hone their skills and talent is not impossible that they will be success at younger ages.

Hi, The first and most despicable blunder that parents make is to expect so many things from their children, which in turn ruins everything. The parents assume that they know everything about their children and they have every right to induce and even impose ideas onto them. At firs we have to get rid of the thought that we know everything, which is a false belief and it shuts away any possibility of future improvement. Why should we be so eager in first place to find out the talent? We are able to see only those things that we like and seem to ignore the rest. How can we judge them? Instead of thinking ourselves as wise we should be try to be wise first. To be good parents, we should first be good human beings. We should remember that our children will repeat every act of ours, and may be in a more effective way. So we need to be cautious. We should try to teach them fundamentals of every little thing and then let them choose what is best for them. We may show them all possible outcomes, we may even relate to them our own experience about things, but we can't choose on behalf of our children. Please read The 7 habits of highly effective people by Stephen R Covey. Its an excellent book. When we expect too much from our children, we just become so blind that we ignore their talents and inclinations when its sparkling right in front of our eyes all the time. If we can clear our mind a little bit, things will be conspicuous. Thanks God bless you

We are either readers or listeners. Renowned management thinker, Peter Drucker, wrote about this in his book, The Effective Executive. It is important to know which one we are. If you are a reader, you will probably enjoy analytical work or management work. If you are a listener, you will enjoy sales, promotions or even teaching. Since it's too early to be thinking of college for grade school children, it is just good to be observing the child's preference. There is also one important human characteristic you should know about in all these. You should learn to spot a timid person. Timidity is not just about a person being silent. There's a reason for that. Timid people inherited a brain that is very sensitive to adrenaline. Any "stressful" or unfamiliar situation will trigger a release of this hormone that will cause the person's heart to beat rapidly and a person's brain to be overly simulated (i.e., the person is thinking so many thoughts). This makes a person turn inward or be silent. Managing timidity is very important for the psychological health of the person.
