There's been a superstar, a franchise player who can carry the team and win the championship ring, a go-to-guy when the game comes down to the wire. But there's also a role player, an integral part of a championship caliber team. A player who sacrifices their bodies, dives the ball, rebounds, hassle, shot 3s, makes plays, blocks, steals. Most of the time their plays does'nt shows in their stats but their contribution has a great impact on the team. Who do you think they are? I will start with my list: Robert Horry - Big shot Bob, a 7 time nba champion, always in the right place at the righ time. Dennis Rodman -The Worm, a hard nosed defender, a hassle player and perhaps the greatest rebounder in Nba's history, 5 time nba champ and 2 time defensive player awardee. Michael Cooper - an integral part of 80's Lakers showtime. A good defender and a 3pt shooter.A 5 time nba champ and a 1 time defensive player recipeint. Bill Laimber - regarded as the most notorious player in Nba, he's part of the bad boy squad in Piston who win the bact-to-back title in the late 80's Bruce Bowen - a good defender who is an integral part in Spurs 3 time championship. Ben Wallace - Big Ben, an undersize center who can rebound and block shot. 4 time nba defensive player of the year and a 1 time champ. There's still a long list guys. They might not have a championship ring but they are an integral part of a championship caliber team. I will stop here so you can continue the list.
