Do you trust the police?

I was asked this question recently. I was asked if I thought I could trust the police, as well as would I believe them more than a civilian, if they were being interviewed. I personally, don't trust them. I think they will lie to get whatever they want. I don't think they are totally dishonest, but I wouldn't put it past them to lie. But, I can't say whether or not I would believe them more than a regular person. I think that all depends on what they are being questioned about. In most cases I would expect both to lie, but I think the police would be more likely to lie to cover things up. What do you think?

Hello! I do not trust police in my country because we have a very high level of corruptibility so everything what you cannot buy, you can buy for a big money unfortunately and as I don't have big money, I try to keep in mind all rules! Happy mylotting!

Ah, that's too bad. It is really the same way here, if you have money, you can have the police in your pocket. They are not to be trusted.

trouble is i mostly dont trust most of the cops here in phoenix. a lot would depend on what they were being questioned about and who they were challenging. because i know the certain people they would lie about. a lot would also depend on the curcumstances. theres been a couple times i didnt believe what went down,.and some i could total believe.

hell0 there well, i really know that there is a really big difference between the police in my country and the police in some others, but if I have to say do I trust the police according to my country, then i will say NOOOO, because police here, is one of authorities where the corrupcy is on a high level. the policemen take bribes very often when they stop you on the street with the car and they ask you for some money if you don't want an indictment, which I really hate. there is also something else- they don't react fast on the signals of citizens in danger, and many times they come too late to rescue or help the people in danger!
