Nowadys Laptop's are so much popular than Desktop, Laptop can take wherever we go and it won't acquire that much of space like desktop. But coming to battery back up for Laptop will be around 3 to 5 hours. so what you think friend or Which one you feel better Desktop or Laptop? Share your feelings and enjoy mylotting.

Laptop. I can take it in bed , I have web cam in the monitor, it's less noisy, has more RAM than my PC and the other laptop (I have 2 xD)... Well PC's are better for people that want to play games, high quality games but for workers , web dev's , designers .. a laptop could be more useful..

I feel that Laptop is better than desktop in some aspects and desktop is also better than laptop in few aspects. The biggest advantage of laptop is that it is handy in use, we can take it to where ever we can,it is also very light in weight so we can put it on our lap, we can do work while lying down also. It requires less space and is more convenient in use than desktop. But the desktop we can use constantly till the power back up is there and it has got more memory than laptop. So, the advantage of constantly running is the thing which makes it better than laptop but if the power is off then we cannot use it. So, laptops can be used till the battery backup is there which makes it more like able and user friendly. So, in short my opinion is this that we should have both the things for getting the benefits as they have got different plus points. And I am keeping both of them.

i use both a desktop and a laptop. when i am in the office, i use the desktop. i only use my laptop in the office when we have power interruptions. at home, it is only my laptop that i use. i love my laptop because i own this, compared to the office desktop, owned by the agency. but i feel better with the desktop for having a wider view and a bigger keyboard, unlike my laptop with a smaller monitor.

I use both Laptop as well as desktop. When I'm on vacation, I always have my Laptop with me so that I don't miss important things that I need to do through the Internet. What I don't like about Laptop while traveling is the stupid mouse and the little keyboard that Laptop has. You know it's very inconvenient and will not let you type fast and conveniently. I normally type very fast. And the use of the stupid mouse. At least, if I'm in home, I could connect an external keyboard and external mouse to the laptop but then again, I have a desktop for home and I rather prefer using it in home than laptop. At least laptop helps us to not miss things when we are away...

I'd still prefer laptop over desktop. laptop is very handy. you can bring it anywhere you go. I am using a pink asus eeepc laptop. it has wifi, bluetooth connectivity, web camera, etc... i love the battery life... it lasts for more than five hours... it's perfect for school presentations too... :) i want to buy a new laptop, a pink 10 inch hp mini netbook...

Oh then obviously laptop suites you rather than desktop because you are always traveling means you can't take desktop with you right. Thanks for your response.

Laptop is much better than a desktop. A laptop today is just as fast and powerful as any desktop, and you can take it with you. There is the problem with batteries, but the good thing about a laptop, is that you can use it just like a desktop. Just plug it in, and when you need to take it with you, its ready to go. You can't take your regular desktop with you. Well you could try.

I love using a laptop because of its mobility. But we have to bring with it the adapter because of its battery life. But anyways, it is so nice to know that it can access the net via wifi hotspots so its pretty cool and nice.

Yup friend with laptop its necessary to bring power adapter that is the main problem because backup of the laptop is not like a cellphone battery backup. Thanks for your time being with me. Have a nice night.

I have both, and I use the laptop everyday. It is much more convenient to use and I can take it with me if I choose to whereas, I can't take my desktop with me. I can do everything on my laptop that I can do on the desktop, so I might as well use it, and enjoy it. I use the laptop in the living room sitting in my easy chair, where I can be comfortable while3 mylotting and doing the other things I do on the laptop. Take care, and happy mylotting.

My gut feeling on this one is that the desktop is better. I did have a laptop but I just couldn't get comfortable using it. It tried it on my knees, a tray, cushions, the table. It just isn't the same as sitting at my desktop. When I sit at the desktop I feel as though I'm working. More focused. If I had to use a laptop then, of course, I would. It's portable. Great if you're travelling around. But I still love my desktop.

Laptops are generally easy to work with. The greatest convenience is typing in my laptop. The keys are much more responsive and I don't feel tired working on it. Desktops are great for surfing but they are not something I use for my day to day works. The only drawback is that you have to get used to it . Laptops can be carried to any places I like to and are very easy to take with me anywhere. So in my opinion laptops are much better to work with.

i prefer to enjoy using my desktop rather than laptop, maybe because laptop has small screen and not good for gaming while desktop it is comfortable to use.

I think it depends on the situation. I have a laptop primarily because I like being able to take it with me anywhere I can and want. But for gaming purposes, I think desktop computers are better. So I hear desktops are generally better for something like that anyway.

Last year, my husband and I saved for a laptop but after a few days of deciding to buy a laptop, we decided to buy a desktop. I didnt like the idea at first but now I understand why a desktop is better than a laptop cause laptops are not as durable as desktops.

Laptop is convenient to carry but I prefer to use desktop cause I can work faster in a desktop than laptop, and desktop is so easy to troubleshoot

I still go for Desktop powerful as laptop. Even you can say that new release laptop is powerful that is in present but when it comes old its not. But with desktop you can upgrade upgrade change anything inside on it because nowadays it is easy to find parts of a desktop computer with a cheaper price
