Chinese and other Southeast Asian foods are often changed to fit Western tastes and to make it more sweet than spicy. However, I still believe that Korean food is the spiciest cuisine. Kimchi, in particular, can be very spicy depending on who is making it for whom. Also, many Korean foods are red and include different variety of spices. Of course, there are also many different types of meat and Korean BBQ, which is marinated ribs.

I was trying to say that Korean BBQ is marinated ribs. Sorry for the confusion. By the way, how did you like Korean BBQ?

Oh..the Korean BBQ was very nice. I like the kimchi a lot. I forgot the most of the food name coz' they already translated to english. But one particular was very nice it's a chicken and rice cakes mixed together with korean sauce and it was just hot and spicy. My tongue was dancing happily that day.

Hello donyun, In my own experience, the spiciest cuisine you can eat is in North Africa. Though some dishes are sweet -- and pastries are not made with sugar but with honey : delicious ! --, most of them are very spicy with hot chili, green and black pepper and ginger. They have also the spiciest sauce an human can eat, called harissa : it is a puree of hot chili. The first time I tried it, my mouth was in fire . Now I enjoy their cookery. Happy myLotting !

I once lived by some people from India, they use a lot of curry I think in their cooking, I know it was really spicey. I am from New Orleans, La and they cook there with a bunch of spices, and use a lot of crab boil witch is very spicey. Most people up North don't use the spices other than salt and pepper so they get stomach problems when they eat what I cook because of all the spice in it. I love chinese food but don't find it that spicey, Mexican is somes a bit too hot for me.

Hi bdugas. I've seen some New Orleans cuisine from some shows in Discovery Channel. They look pretty nice and some are spicy too. I would like to get some taste on it if I had a chance to travel there. :D

I guess, it's Korean and Indian foods that are the spiciest food I've ever tasted. I forgot the names of the recipes that I've tasted but I tell you, I really perspire when I ate those foods that are really spicy and sizzling chili hot!

In india we make everything spicy. Indians like spicy food. I like it too.My mother used to make some kind of chicken curry with lots of pepper powder and green chillies . It is a very spicy and tasty dish. I have seen people making chutney out of one of the most spiciest chillies i think it must be the spiciest cuisine

I been living quite a while now in s'pore. And it has quite big Indin community and tried some of the food. I honestly say I haven't found that is spicy but hot at the same time. Spicy to be sure but rarely hot or got lots of chillies. Surely I would like to taste your mother special recipe. It would be very interesting

A difficult question as many cultures have spicy foods. A lot depends on the spices the chef puts in it!! Thai can be very spicy and most Indian, but also Mexican. I love spicy food and do tend to add more than a recipe indicates.

It seems that many people here are making "spicy" mean hot, as in chili. I prefer spicy as in 'tasty spices used'. Italian, Greek and Turkish would then qualify. The Mediterranean cuisine is very enjoyable.
