How do you cheer yourself up when you are feeling a bit low?

Today is a cold, grey , miserable day and my mood fits that description too. I am trying to think of ways to cheer myself up, unfortunately money is tight so a good bit of retail therapy is out, how would you cheer yourself up?

Hello. I can relate to how you feel. I feel that sometimes. Whenever I feel that way, I choose to spend time with my friends whom I can talk to. For me, talking it over with the people close to you eases the burden. Or sometimes, we don't really have to talk much about it. I just want them to keep me company because they're so fun and easy to be with. There are also times when I choose to be alone, make myself comfortable by taking long baths, I eat good food, listen to good music and get longer sleep. And of course, I never forget to pray. It's really powerful.

when i'm feeling low sometimes i focus myself on eating something i really want like ice cream or chocolate bar! that way i can think more pleasant ways and think positively while enjoying sweets! or usually i play along with my niece,but sometimes that really don't work i even get her scolded at times i'm feeling low! i do take time for myself,think happy moments,things that make me happy!

Whenever I feel that the world is upon me, I just listen to music and sleep afterwards. As much as possible I don't want to think about the problems that are bothering me because it just makes my head turn around. Music therapy is my ultimate resort when I feel this way. I listen and sing to every song - whether on radio or on my phone. I don't know but music really soothes me and it just lifts my spirit up. And most of all, I pray and ask God to give me peace of mind and heart.

i just go out to the mall and watch movie or eat something i want like my favorite to feel better. sometimes if i have money i go shopping but if none then im just contented to watch movie even if alone. if im at home i just be busy myself in the internet and talk to friends, i just forget things that make me feel bad and look forward for more brighter and funny side of life.

I am feeling frustrated and depressed about my job these days and I admit that making myself feel better is something that's really difficult for me to do. Anyway, I try to eat all my favorite food when I'm down.

It is the same here it is really dull and rather cold.I usually do things that i like doing aswell as try to keep myself busy.I also come on the pc and do alot of the sites aswell as play bingo at the same time in the hope to earn money.I also make cards as that way i can also sell them to make a bit of extra money.

When it gets boring, i play video games. Whenever i'm bored with the games i have, i buy a new one. Well, most of the time, like playing rpg games like final fantasy, which has a very long gamespan so it'll take quite a while before i finish it and buy me a new one.

meditation will help you feel better, if you know how and if your place is that quiet and serene. Everytime i feel bad, i just turn up a feel-good song especially the ones that i can sing along with, steer clear from the slow love or sentimental songs cuz they might worsen or even dampen your already under the weather spirit.Or try running cuz they say that once you get into running, depression is impossible... This one i can truly vouch for. Since i got into running i was more positive in life and i could pitch up my mood easly without breaking my wallet for a tall blend of iced latte or a big bar of chocolate. ofcourse you can also watch comic movies or just browse thru the web and look for some laugh- worthy jokes =)

One good way to cheer yourself is to think about the nice incidents happened in your life. Think about the people around you who are in great agony. Then, you will realize that god has kept you in much better position that many of the other people. Think about positive things and dream about the future. Boost up your confidence level. Prayer also helps you feel better.
