Have any of you got any 'claims to fame' - no matter how small?

According to Andy Warhole we'll all have our 15 minutes of fame. Think I'm failing fast at that!! So what claims to fame do I have? When I was 16 I was presented to the Queen as a Queen's Guide when she visited out town ( I was the only female to be presented to her) so I guess that's a bit of a claim to fame. The film'Millions' was filmed in my son's old school and my old house was on the film (OK so that's my house's claim to fame!!) Oh and if you Google Oldchem my website usually comes up in the first search!! true fame eh!! So what are yours?

My claim to fame is that i had an article written about me in Womans Own magazine , we had a proffesional photographer who came to the house and did a photoshoot . It was all so exciting at the time and i couldnt wait to see it in print , however the story was about my brain haemorrhage and somehow the story got twisted round and ended up talking about my ex husband a lot. My now husband was fuming especially as they had his age at 51 and not 41. This story has lead to other magazine offers and a spot on "This Morning " all of which we have gracefully declined as we coudn't stand the thought of being so hurt again . This made me see celebrities in a different light and now i don't believe anything that is in the press .

What a nasty experience. Your story reminded me of another little mini claim to fame I had. I have five children but with a big age gap - my eldest is 38 and my youngest 14, when I had my youngest me and two of my daughters were pregnant at the same time. When the three kids (we called them the 96ers!!) were about 2 I read an article in the Daily Mail about the 'incredible' story of a woman who was pregnant at the same time as her daughter, I sent a letter telling of my experience, and the next thing I knew there was a reporter and a photographer round doing an article on us - just a small one in the letters page. However the next week I went on hoilday and when I got home had numerous phone calls from magazines and newspapers wanting to do a story. My daughters though were not happy with the idea and we went no further. After your experience I was probably right not to

I did modeling for 3 months. During that time i was scouted to be featured at a local magazine here. It was just a one page feature that shows the new underwear of the trend. It wasn't that big but i consider it a one page of fame. Lol.

The Queen's Guide? That sounds pretty cool. Yes. I have an art site that does pretty well. From it I got an album cover in the US, a magazine cover in Poland, and a book cover in Germany. Unfortunately my German is terrible so I haven't been able to read the book they sent me, but it was cool to get paid for it and then get to hold this book in my hand and think "hey that's me!" But I honestly don't think about those things much. My boyfriend usually has to remind me (as he's super proud of the accomplishments). I guess I just want to focus on my art work and keep making art I love and then hey if someone wants to put it on a book cover or something, then all the better :)
