Do you have to use air conditioning or can you survive without it?

I am wondering if we can survive without air conditioning.
Many of us have gotten so use to the luxuries of life that
they become a necessity
I am using fans right now.
Do you think it's possible to go without air conditioning?

I'm sure its possible. I know there are people living in the world in huts without electricity. They seem to do ok.
I was pretty poor for a while and living with friends in a mobile home that was old and had no air conditioning. We were miserable! It was sticky and warm and gross. I took a lot of cold showers, drank a lot of water and often thought I was going to pass out from heat stroke. It gets crazy hot around here in summer.
If I had to, I'd survive without the air conditioning, but I don't want to! As is where I live now, we can't run it often because it costs too much. But you can be sure when it's over a 100F out I'll be running some AC at some point and eagerly waiting for winter to come back. I prefer cold weather as you can always wear jackets and fuzzy blankets to keep warm. But in the heat, you can only do so much to stay cool.

Good luck. Hopefully it won't get too crazy hot just yet and you'll be ok.

Of course it's possible to live without air conditioning. We'Ve only used air con to an extent but we stopped cuz of the electricity bills.
