Out of all the countries you have visited which has been your favourite and why

I have visited many different countries that have been really lovely, but my favourite has to be the lovely little Greek island of Corfu. Corfu had been somewhere that I had always wanted to visit ever since I read the book 'My Family and Other Animals' by Gerald Durell when I was at school. His book was about his time as a child on the island and he simply made me want to see it for myself. Funnily enough, when I first went to Corfu, we stayed in a glorious little village called Kalami, and the villa we were staying in 'The White HOuse' was actually were Durrell's older brother Lawrence lived and wrote his novel'Prospero's Cell'. The island was exactly how I imagined it even to the fireflys dancing on the beach at night. I would really recommend it as a holiday destination. How about you?

well, I haven't been to many places abroad till date, but from the few countries that i have visited in my lifetime, the one that I mostly like is Croatia- a country with a lovely nature and lovely people, people who know how to make you feel comfortable in their country, people so friendly and helpful. Croatia is a place where you can enjoy the sea if you are a fan of the good and lovely beaches, or you can hike in the mountain if you like the adventures like me. there is also something more- the hotels and the standard of living, I mean food, drinks and all the stuffs we need fro our normal daily round aern't that expensive as in some other countries ni Europe and all over the world, so it is really easy to save money for some trip to Croatia- a country with lovely nature and lovely and friendly people

Hi I visited Croatia many many years ago when it was still part of Yugoslavia and yes, it was very, very beautiful - we loved it. When the war happened shortly after we were there I was very upset at the thought of the damage that would be done; it's good to know that it is still a beautiful place

The best holdays i have had have been are in Peurto Rico - Gran Canaria , although it's not to everyones taste i love it there . If i won on the lottery i would buy a little bar and go to live there . I love the relaxed atmosphere during the day, you can walk about without getting bumped and jostled by the crowds . At night it comes alive but not with loads of 18s -30 holiday groups. You have plenty of choices in the types of bars from family orientated to fun pubs with loads of music. The only drawback is that almost every restaurant is a mexican or steakhouse which leads you limited in the style of meal you want . We have always laughed about the food as we can eat as much as we want to all holiday without gaining any weight as there are steps all over the place and it's often a hike to the hotels . Non of this bothers me though as it was love at first site and i wear rose tinted glasses when thinking about the place.

I have never been to other countries so I have no idea which one I'd pick as my most unforgettable. But I would really love to see Rome, and visit the Vatican because I have heard many spiritually uplifting stories of people who have been to the place. Next stop would probably be Spain.

Rome is a lovely and spiritual place, and I do love parts of Spain - not keen on the Benidorm type place but up in the mountains is beautiful

i onlt went to a few countries: hong kong, malaysia, singapore, canada, us, and norway. out of those though my favorite were singapore and norway. norway is such a laid back place and very nice, no wonder their quality of living index is very high (i think they're on top for years?). singapore is nice too. disciplined people, small country, and very very very clean.
