there is a special kind of people. they are invariably white-collarworkers. instead of "hello", they greet each other with "are you busy lately?" their answers always indicate they are too busy. their desks are forever stacked with piles of documents. and they can hardly turn away from the computer screen any time of the day. it looks as if they are workaholics. only that they are not. they just pretend to be. they are called the pretend-to-be-busy tribe. often times, their pile-up documents are just papers which should have been thrown into the waste basket a long time ago. the computer screen? the most common trick is to paste a novel into a work-related word document. in fact, there are many more tricks that you did not know. why do they do this? the monotony of nine-to-five, the fear of losing face if the other colleagues appear busy, and the experience that hard work has not been recognized...forget all these farfetched excuses. they just want to goof off.

Yeah, office work is always endless. So a lot of people usually pretend to be busy to get away with being arrowed with more tasks. But these people are usually quite disliked by their workaholic counterparts since they have to work extra hard to ensure that the work got done. Sometimes, these people may given get better recognition than those workaholic collegues if they act well. But I guess that's not the way out.

HI, I dont work with paper or on computer much, my job is dealing with feeding people... so my clock is always busy. If I am busy then I just have to take a break to talk to friend. I know everyone is really busy at work but i dont think they can't take 20- or 30 minutes break? we can't just keep working and working all day long. it is just too stressful
