How many of you out there run your own business big or small from home?

In today's society work is not that easy to find and I know more and more people who are using their talents at skills to try and make a little money. I think that this is an excellent idea and a good way of increasing your families revenue. In my family myself and three of my daughters work from home in one way or another. I have one daughter who works at writing reviews, she has earned a nice little bit from this - as she is pregnant the job suits her fine, obviously it is not a full time job but there is a steady income coming in which makes her feel a little independent. My other two daughters run businesses through their websites based on their own talents. My eldest daughter is a very talented cake maker, she has built up quite a nice little business - first from word of mouth and then from her website and wedding fairs. As she has four young daughters it is ideal for her to work from home - her cakes really are a work of art, I feel so proud of her talents (especially as she took over the cake making business from me) if you would like to see an example of her skills and talents her website is www.cakedesignsbyhelen.co.uk I love showing off my daughters talents!!!! My other daughter makes wedding jewellery, bouquets etc from crystals, silver, pearls and the like, she started by making them for a sister in laws wedding and her business has really taken off, people buy her goods from all over the world - she has just sent out an order to New York - again she has two young children so this work suits her and fits into her lifestyle ( her website is www.sparklesandcrystals.co.uk) - like I say, I'm a proud mum!!! My little business is a lot smaller than theres - I sell e-books with low fat recipes in and at Christmas I helpSanta with his letters to the children!! I will give you my website but it is nothing like as professional as my two daughters!! it is www.e-booksfromoldchem.piczo.com, and itdoes bring me in a little income. I'd be interested to know how other lotters out there make a little money themselves by working at home.
