For me, I think one thing I did that made my parents proud was when I graduated in college with honors. I know that they've been praying for that and I was so happy and grateful that God gave it. It was my own little way of telling them that every thing that they have done for me was worth it. And I'm not gonna stop there. I'm still bound to pay them back even more that I am now working. What about you?

I too graduated college with honors too. That was a very exciting time for me and my parents were really happy. I was the first one in my family to graduate from college so my whole family was excited. Another time was when I wrote a song in honor of our troops and I had an opportunity to perform it at our state capital and the 2009 state fair. They were really proud of me.

You are a good child. I am sure you will be more blessed in your life because God doesn't neglect children who take good care of their parents. That was what I learned from reading the Holy Scriptures and from my parents as well. Your parents are so lucky to have you. I hope, there will be many more person like you who knows how to reciprocate the kindness and love their parents gave and still giving to them from the moment they were born up to the present time. What makes my parents proud of me was that I was able to finish my studying up to college with no problems at all. They did not experience being called by the teacher or the principal of the school because I did something bad. They were called from the office not because I was a naughty student but because I had an award to receive. I am just an average student. Although I did not graduate with honors during college, I belong to the scholars of my Alma Mater. I was able to maintain good grades while I was studying. They even get more proud of me when I succesfully passed the licensure examination for teachers. Not all applicants who took the exam were able to pass the licensure. Sometimes, it took a person 2 to 3 trials because he can pass the exam. I just took the exam once and it did bring great happiness with my parents and with me as well.

I think one of the most wonderful things I made for my parents was that when i graduated as Valedictorian when I was in high school. And also they got proud of me when I always raised for the first place during competitions, beauty pageants and also in sports competition. But for me, the greatest thing you can do to your parents is that you must be proud that they are your parents.Let them feel that you love, respect and proud of them.

I have tried in numerous ways to make my parents feel proud of me.I have always been the best student when I was at school and I go on being one of the best in my university.I used to train aerobics and I won 6th place which is not the best thing but this was my first national competition so I am proud to be the 6th in our country. And my parents didn't come to see me.So I gave up!I am just tired of trying to make them believe I am great.

We were in the same boat. My parents were also proud of me when I graduated last April 2010 as a CumLaude and because of that my mother went home when to attend my graduation. That day was also one of the happiest moments in my life because after a long year i was able to see my mother.
