Mystery SMS on my cell phone

Dear Mylotters on 19th July 2009 at 6.59pm(I.S.T) I received an unusual blank sms on my cell.It was sent by anonymous i.e no number was flashed and the most important/surprising thing was that the date of the sent sms was 01/01/1970 which is impossible since the first mobile phone was invented in 1973 by Dr. Martin Cooper,a Motorola employee.And the first cellphone call was made April 3rd,1973. I was totally confused with this sms and even call the customer support but they said they don't have any information regarding this.I still have this sms in my inbox but the mystery behind this is still unveiled.Do anyone out here received this kind of sms ?Please tell me how to know any information about this?

I just can't explain either. I'm intrigued too. You probably just had a call from an alien from outer space. Or someone out there seemed to want to connect to you. Sorry but has that mobile phone been used by somebody before? That could also be the missing link? You could either give up or just wait for the next clue to pursue it. I find it very interesting...

I'm dumbfounded! Yes it is a mystery. If I were you I would keep it up here in myLot or in some other social networking or discussion and forum pages to see if somebody out there might have got the same experience before. There is no guarantee obviously and can be very frustrating but it's worth a try. Do it casually in your spare time. Go slow if you wish but don't give up unless it's life threatening... You never know what lies ahead!

Or is there a paranormal out there where you can talk this thing out. I know it sounds crazy but like I said You never know what lies ahead!

No,its a brand new cellphone.I even inquired a lot about this but no conclusion came out.If the customer support people couldn't answer then whom else should should I ask? After that I never received any thing like that.Its still a mystery

spooky, i suspect its some stupid person playing a prank, did you lose any credit? if you did its probably some company playing a trick

No,nothing happened like that.But do you think its possible?How can be the sent time can be changed? I even changed my calender date of my phone and sent a sms to my friend but when he received the sms the date was present date. So how come its possible is still a mystery.

its probably the technology they have these days, they can probably send a text from your number to someone else, theres bound to be something that will show you up as blank and make you receive random date texts

Hello there! That was just similar to fake SMS, the sender can modify the date. Don't worry about that, you are still lucky because you only got that kind of message, not the worst one called curse SMS. This curse disables your messaging function, it means that when you receive that curse SMS, you can't send or receive any messages and you can't open your inbox. Sounds annoying, right? Well, it can be solved using antivirus application. Have a nice day!
