Some people say that going online is a waste of your time, money and electricity because you're only just browsing/surfing, reaching out with friends, in other words those things are non-sense because they say your not using your time to good use like doing things which are useful and profitable in everyday living.Do yo think that there's some truth to this?

For me it is not a waste of time, money or electricity. Whenever I go online, I just do what I must do.I go my first earning site which is encoding. Once, I am finished with it, I do mylotting. I am also writing articles on Bukisa and Triond. So even if I spend electricity being online for so many hours, still I do earn and I have the ability to pay not only internet bills but other bills as well. It is much better to work online than not work at all or just use the internet in playing games in which you know cannot give you any money in return.I do surf as well, and once I surf, it is related to the articles I am writing. I just do a research first on what I am going to write and then polish my articles. I also use the internet in learning online. As of now,I am continuing my study in English despite the fact that I am studying it since I was a child. It is just that I find myself still not confident sometimes when talking to someone in English. Once, I finished the course, I will then take the Spanish course. I love that language and I know it will give me a number of benefits if I know different languages to speak of.I am studying in livemocha site and it offers courses for free. It is a great opportunity so I grab it for I know it will help me in the future.

Not for me because I work online. I earn my living by writing online so I have to log into the online writing websites I work for every 24 hours or so to check on new projects available. It's not really nonsense because I now get to earn around $700 a month. Thanks and happy mylotting!

hi joram328, So nice that I had found this discussion. I visited your blog and read its content. I want to ask more about your job for I also want to devote more time in online work.As of now, I am writing on Triond and Bukisa. I want to know more writing sites so I can get additional earnings aside from the 3 sites I am working with. Thanks.

Not in my line of work. I'm a computer programmer and blogger. So, I need to be online. Besides, I get a lot more ideas if I'm online. If I'm not connected, I feel slow and my mind seemed more willing to wander.

Hi munach, Somehow i am not agree with that. But, if you used internet just for some p*rn sites, then yes, it waste your time, money and life. However, if we use it to improve our knowledge, make new friends, keep in touch with family and friend, and more useful stuff. Then internet would not waste anything.
